UoL Student-Staff Conference
1 February 2013
The student union and the university hosted a day of talks around issues of common concern amongst the academic community. Themes included the ‘digital education strategy’, designing classrooms, innovative approaches to feedback and technology for education.
At 12:00, Dan Bishop, Karin Crawford, Natalie Liddle and other students discussed their research and introduce ideas for a new format for subject committee meetings. This emphasised students’ issues, allowing for deeper conversations and releasing more opportunities to talk.
